Dr. Christopher Meyer was born and raised on a family farm in a small town in rural northern Wisconsin. He earned an undergraduate degree from the University of Wisconsin-Green Bay. While attending UWGB, Dr. Chris’s active lifestyle was sidelined by severe neck pain as a result of a childhood accident at the age of 10. What started as a small accident -he remembers the crunching sound as a bail of hay landed on his head- escalated into a degeneration in his neck, leading to arthritic and bone spurs by the age of 21. After unsuccessful medical treatment with antibiotics and pain relievers, he was introduced to chiropractic care. Not only did the chiropractic care tackle his pain, but within a few adjustments Dr. Chris noticed a vast difference in his sinuses; that summer he experienced no allergies for the first time in his life. This experience inspired him to become a chiropractor himself, sharing with others the gift of health along with freedom from pain and dependance on drugs.
Dr. Chris is a graduate of Palmer College of Chiropractic, where he studied with Dr. Larry Troxell at the Clinton Back and Neck Care center in Iowa. Dr. Chris specializes in the Gonstead Method of Chiropractic Analysis. He is certified in Nutritional Counseling (Advanced Training and use in Standard Process Supplements) and also has extensive training in Applied Kinesiology (“muscle testing”) and Nutritional Response Testing (NRT).
Dr. Chris has been in private practice in Green Bay, Wisconsin for over 12 years.
